And I have been since before I was born! And the one thing they say about Catholics is, they'll take you as soon as you're warm! You don't have to be a 6 footer, you don't have to have a great brain, you're a catholic the moment your dad came!

todays the day my band (The mighty flying isaacs) are playing a gig for our friend's birthday/leaving do and in just 3 hours or so we'll be in front of abou 100 people....which is a little daunting.
we should be fine, we've practiced about every day the last 2 weeks but the nerves are just beginning to flare up a bit....oh geez. | |

yes hello i'm very bored so i thought i would post random information etc and see if anyone would reply (i'm not suspecting that many people, if at all but hey it's better than me sitting here doing nothing but watching a grey box flicker)
Last exam i had today, twas A-level Sociology and i did ok....i don't like thinking i did well cos generally if i think i've done well, i haven't so you know low expectations and all that.
Am wondering if i should do anything, i've got until september till uni so a summer full of.....at the moment nothing.
Well that's not true, my band "The flying isaacs" (great name) are playing a set of cover songs for a friends birthday party and atm we're just finishing off practicing etc and the gig is in about 3 weeks or so....so i'm actually crapping myself! not literally, that's just icky.
Anyway so yes i guess any suggestions of what i should actually do with my time (not rude or insulting.....if you can bare it) then it'll be very much obliged!

I don't know really if it is insomnia exactly....but recently i've been having really really bad sleep, as in lack of it. couple of days ago i stayed awake till half 3, the other day about 4 and yesterday....a staggering half 5!
the sun was coming up and i was still awake, a lot has been on my mind recently which i think is the cause of it all, but do any of you tfs'ers have any known remedies for insomnia? | |

lightning....
My one phobia. My computer is situated in like a conservatory (it's not a posh one or anything, literally a box outside with gla** everywhere) and it's started thunder and lightning and this huge one just lit up the entire sky!
Now as to explain my phobia, when i was young about 10 or so we went on holiday to our friends house in austria. They lived in a nice little country house 5 minute walk from the local village. the walk is surrounded by fields no trees or anything. Well we went to this pub in the lovely weather, and after a meal we decided to go home, but it was raining. So we were walking home getting wet, when the most horrible thunder storm ever just hit austria, and there were no trees or cover whatsoever so the way i saw it....i was a walking lightning conductor. So at the tender age of 10 i ran the entire way in the dark along a deserted austrian lane while absolutely terrified of all this lightning.
Anyway now should i stay on here and just shiver or go off and do nothing.... | |

That's right, the bitch is dead! I did 3056 words and now my head is dizzy with the intense amount of printer ink being wasted  Now i can sleep well at night without constant attacks on my dreams by Hitler and Stalin (who really wants to dream about that?)
Now i just have 3 hours of Mighty Boosh Hip hip Hoorah! | |
