They had to moved to the fire hall and they just simply don't have enough room there. When I was there today everything was so crazy. Alot of the volunteers were getting agitated trying to sort out the special diet meals and get all the frozen meals for the weekend together. Also I found out some of the people I brought meals to last time I volunteered died. There would be enough room if all the center did was deliver meals but they also do programs and activities with the seniors, which is good because for some of them that is the only social contact they get all day. Today I also found out more details on the fire at the old center; apperently the man who set fire to it was one of the seniors that use to go to the programs and get meals but I guess the man has some mental and substance abuse problems. It's just sad that someone would do that but at least the center didn't shut down because of it.
