Today @ 04:00:12 am | | A few days ago an officer was working an accident scene when another officer on the way to a burglary sped through the intersections hit a car and then ran the first officer over. Yes there is controversy...why was the officer running code without lights and sirens? It may turn out to be his fault. The officer that was ran over has been removed from life support. His funeral will be in a few days. As a police officers wife its my duty to attend the officers funeral with my husband. It it one of the worst experiences ever but at the same time its great therapy to help deal with the loss of a brother in blue. It's a really sad story and I feel so bad for the families involved. 2 comments | Reply |

They quit their jobs because they didnt like it and didnt bother trying to get new ones as they would be getting married and going on a honeymoon. I can understand that. Her husband just graduated with a degree in marketing right before the wedding. They got married. His father put a large down payment on a home for them so their payment is a little over two hundred dollars. After the wedding they didnt bother to look for jobs because they had enough money to live for about a month. The month passed and then he cashed in his stocks his father had invested for him. FIve months later they still dont have jobs. He has signed up for training for a home commision based job. Basically answering incoming calls and trying to seal the deal on a product. Its a good thing he got a job but my sister isnt even bothering to look. THe clincher? They got pregant on purpose!!!!!!! They are on WIC, a goverment program that provides them with milk, formula, juice and some other basic needs like cheese and peanut butter. My sister says she signed up for it because Colby wanted to be on it just because "he can". She tells me the other day "his parents will pay for the baby stuff". I told her not to expect it or take it for granted and she said "well they paid for his sister's baby stuff and they had jobs." I told her exactly...they have jobs and try to support themselves. She said well maybe his mom wont but his dad will definately buy us the stuff.
I dont know where she gets this. My dad always worked hard for us, busted his a** and we still did without. I find it appalling. I told her she was being selfish. She had nothing to say and thinks there is nothing wrong with her views on this. I dont know why she expects his family to support them finacially, especially when his mother doesnt really care for her anyway. I'm just waiting for the real world to hit them and it will. Hard. I know its not my business but I worry about my sister.9 comments | Reply |
