Mothers Day Gift Shopping

ARGH!!!!! I hate shopping for gifts! My mom will never say what she wants. All she ever says is "Oh you dont have to get me anything." I just stand there and go...THAT'S NOT HELPFULL! Dont get me wrong, I love my mom but she can never seem to actually answer the question. Even at christmas she will tell me not to get her anything. I CANT DO THAT! ITS CHRISTMAS FOR GOODNESS SAKE!

Sometimes I wish she would just answer the question instead of letting me walk aimlessly around the mall shops (which are extrordinarily limited here) looking for something to buy. I usually go to the old fall-back of buying her new funky looking running socks. (Recently my mom ran her first marathon in Vancouver.) But this year I decided to be different and got her a gift card for starbucks. Not the gift of the year but its all I could do. Ah well, come her birthday I will annoy a proper answer out of her!

	So don't get her anything. Do something for her. It might mean a lot more to her in the end.
