here is a list of what i have done to change.

~ stopped smoking

~ i have become more of a confident person

~ i respect my self

~ i am not scared to tell people how i feel

~ i dont give a hoot now about what people think about me.

	Change is enevitable, whether we want to or not. Your list is all well and good, well done, except for that last one. You should care to a degree what people think about you, for the sake of normalcy, i.e. what is right, from what is wrong. Other than that, be yourself by all means without concern of anothers opinion.
