October 09, 2008 @ 01:57:58 am | I can't believe I haven't written a journal since July. I have been in and out of TFS to log in and chat shortly with pals, but I really haven't had time to actually post something, lol. 
Well lately I seem way overtired, stressed, and busy. I just received more hours at work (from 17 hours per week to 37 hours per week)!  So it's a big change...
Also, I'm taking more college classes, so between work and school, it's crazy.
Other than that my life is just focused on sleeping and eating. I have no social life  I don't think I've ever had a social life Sometimes it sucks, but in times like these, I don't give a crap! 
I just feel bad sometimes when I don't talk to my friends, especially on TFS. Man, I'm not a good friend at all... or maybe that's because I don't see my old friends at all, so I just forget to call?? But doesn't a phone work both ways?? 
As for the TFS friends, well... I'm not sure why I don't get on here to talk more often... oh yeah I'm working.. It's also because I don't have internet at home..
Whatever.... I'm just in a weird, tired, and depressed, yet sugar high happy sort of mood.
So if any of my rambling made sense, well then yay!!

October 01, 2008 @ 08:33:51 pm | It was my friend Laura's funeral today and it was horrific.
It really was a beautiful service and everything and it touched a lot of people, but it was horrible all the same.
They read out her profile from her yearbook and had a huge display of all her art work. It was really a sad day but it was nice to see so many people who loved and cared about her.
So yeah, I'm off for a nice warm shower and I'll watch a film before I head to bed.

First we went to see Zane Lowe, who was djing at one of my Unions, The QMU. For those who don't know Zane Lowe is a dj on Radio 1 and he's pretty well known for presenting tv and stuff - oh and he's an absolute hotty!
So I went to see him djing and I'm telling you, he was amazing. The atmosphere he created was to die for and he's just so good at his job. He was mixing all these different floorfillers and student beats and it was just amazing - no words to describe.
So after he finished, which was about 3am we headed off to the second of Glasgow University's unions. The GUU. In the GUU they were having a 12 hour Hive (which is the name of one of the clubs within the union building) and it started at 6 - so by the time we got there it was peaked in music and dancing and people etc.
So we stayed there right till 6am.

It's all girls, a bit wary about that because I get one sooooo much better with guys, and they all already know each other - they all lived together last year so I'm really feeling like an odd man out.
They're being nice and talking and everything, but every now and then an in joke will come up, or they'll all talk about people I don't know etc.
Ach well, I'll get used to it.
My friends live in the flat downstair so if I'm ever in need of some banter they're always there.  1 comments | Reply |

Just being reminded of her existence is still making me feel like s**t. It's been 9 f**king months now. 9 months. I should be over her by now.

She got really really angry with me last night (I forgot to post some letter) and she's just said 'by way of apology I will cook you a meal you like, Mushroom Risotto'.
Risotto is one of very very few kinds of food I can't stand. Thing is I don't want to be dificult or not eat something my mum has cooked, so every time she cooks it I'm sort of forced to eat something I can't stand.
