This is taking soooo long! I made a backup of all the files in My documents, including all my program set up files, and copied them over to my other computer, and then did a fresh installation of XP, and now I'm transferring my documents back onto my laptop. This ought to get rid of all the weird quirks my laptop had. Like How every time I'd start up my computer, the C: folder would pop up by itself, or how incredibly slow it was! Should be better now, we'll see.

So today I had my pregnancy glucose test, Ugh! It made me feel gross. Not too bad, but still, that's a lot of sugar! 50 grams of glucose in one sitting! I didn't even know it was gonna be today, she just walked in with the familiar orange liquid and told me to start chuggin, lol.
My meeting with the nurse was funny! She swore like a sailor! "Oh, that food pyramid's all f**ked up, ignore this, ignore that, they're all bought out over there..." Definitely not what I was expecting to hear! lol. I agree with what she was saying about the food pyramid, I just never expected to hear that from a state employee, lol. She was quite the character.
Then we went to an all you can eat buffet, to I tried not to eat much carbs or any sugar, and tried to balance out the sugar with some salt to help my body deal with the glucose test.
Tonight I have a web cla** I need to attend. It starts at the same time that Barack Obama starts his speech accepting his nomination, Rrrr. I really want to watch that, but I've paid for these classes, so I'll be doing that instead. Maybe I can have the TV on in the background or something.
My husbands business is going really well, he has lots of appointments lined up for fixing people's appliances, so that's great

We've been looking for a dining table set for our new apartment, and so yesterday I found a really nice set about 30 miles from our place but at a really good price, simple, but solid wood, and in very good condition. So we go down there, pick up the table, tie it to the roof of the car, and put the chairs in the back. So the whole way home, I'm all paranoid about every single sign over the road, thinking we're gonna hit something and ruin the table. But amazingly, we get to our apartment complex no harm done. We pull into our parking lot, and then...pull into our COVERED parking stall, and hear CRACK! Low and behold, two of the legs are cracked and bent. *sigh*

| I really want to move to California. But my husband has this tendency where he has to feel like the decision maker, so the more I push for it, the more he says "Yeah, but, ...blah blah blah..., so no." However, I happen to know that he has a deep internal craving for the sun. For example, he decided we were going to move to Canada a couple years ago. So we went up there, and it was snowing, and within 3 DAYS, he had talked himself out of Canada, and into Hawaii..lol So here's my plan: I will use his own reverse psychology against him. I will push to buy a house here in rainy Oregon. Really push for the long long term plan here. Get him imagining life in the rain in a long term sense. Then, I will put a picture calendar of San Diego on our fridge. So on the many many rainy days here, he'll have plenty of reminders of what he's missing. Hehehehe... Should start to work within a few months at most I think. The problem is that summer weather is starting to kick in around here now, and summer in Portland is nice, but the only problem is it only lasts 3 months and then it's overcast and rainy the rest of the year. So summer may delay my plan working for a few months cause he won't be in the thick of typical oregon weather until it passes. But eventually, it will work. Mwahahahahahahahahahaaaah!! We WILLL move to California! MYES! | |

I don't know why I've just stayed up all night, and now it's nearly 6am. My daughter will probably wake up soon, and then I'll be up for the rest of the day for sure. And I didn't sleep well last night either, so I'm afraid I'm gonna have a real zombie day. lol It's not like I couldn't sleep, I just got caught up in websites and stuff, and now the night is almost over Oh well, I'll sleep tomorrow night I guess. lol
I think part of it is that my husband is away for job training, and usually he is always on me to go to bed early, and now that he's not here to do that, I'm going nuts! lol I guess I just gotta get it out of my system, and I'll be good. Being a zombie all day ought to take care of that! lol

You know what I just noticed? On my birthday, when I turned 24, I got a blessing from Tino for the reason "Happy Birthday." It was my 24th Blessing since being in TFS! lol Weird. So it says, "Blessings: 24, Reason for last Blessing: "Happy Birthday""

(I know, I know, I'm easily amused)
