I really hope don't go overdue, I am soooo uncomfortable! Walking is nearly impossible without getting butt and thigh cramps, and I feel like I have pulled muscles in my abdomen, so that sucks, and I keep having to get up in the middle of the night to pee, and finding a comfortable position to sleep in is tricky just because trying to move from one position into another is a freakin' Herculean effort with this giant tummy, lol. I really hope this is over soon!
On the upside, my husband has taken to serving me hand and foot, which is nice, lol. Seriously, if I sat in this chair all day long, I'd have breakfast, lunch and dinner brought to me, lol. He also does all the laundry, dishes, vacuuming, everything. It's starting to make me feel guilty, lol. | |

| 38 weeks! I'm almost done! Yay! My dr says she thinks the baby has dropped down into my pelvis, so that's some form of progress. But it makes walking pretty difficult, it seems like I can't walk 20 feet without my inner thigh cramping up, I guess she's pressing on a nerve or something. I'm apparently a bit of a spectacle when I go out, everyone stares at me, lol. There is this very pervasive myth that if you carry narrow it's a boy, and if you carry wide it's a girl. So several people have looked at me and said (not asked, stated), "Oh, you're having a boy." And they're always so surprised when I say it's a girl. But this has happened so many times, I'm surprised at how many people believe wive's tales like that. | |

I'm officially at full term today, so she could be born anytime. We'll see how much longer I have to go. I can't wait until I don't have to feel like a freakin' whale anymore, lol.
I made a mattress pad for the baby, which I put in the bassinet so it'd be just a little softer in there. But the foam is still stinky, it needs to air out, so I'm not keeping it in there until it's done airing out. It smelled like a nasty combination of nail polish and fish, lol.
I've developed a weird sensitivity to apple cider (alcohol-free of course)...it'll give me a god-awful headache within minutes. My doctor said it was probably a sulfite sensitivity, which I've never had before. I love apple cider  Hopefully that'll change after the baby is born.
Soo...I'm just waiting now. | |

Right now she's in her room playing "Teacher" with her stuffed animals. She has her stuffed animals sitting in a group in front of her, and she's using a box as a desk, and she's drawing pictures for cla** lessons, and explaining things to her stuffed animals, lol. She's so sweet!  | |

6 weeks to go, and I'll have a brand new baby!
It feels like I've been pregnant forever, and 6 weeks seems like such a long time! | |

| after that I'll be almost completely done! This one will take longer though I think because I'll have to be adding user accounts at the same time since they weren't all showing up in the list of users who had made posts when I was transferring over user accounts. This is one reason I changing over to Drupal, XOOPS has weird quirks like that that make it hard for the site to be uniform and consistent throughout. | |

| I FINALLY finished copying over and relabelling all the pics on my site! Now I gotta do about the same amount of jokes *sigh*. But I got it done ahead of time, so that's good! Tedious work, but it's gonna be worth it, the new system is way better! | |

So I was talking with my mom, and telling her about how my husband started his own business which was going well, and how some of my websites were doing well, etc. But everything I mentioned she was like, "Oh, he's doing a *new* job now, huh? I wonder how long *that'll* last..." and about my websites I told her I have a certain amount of money they make me every month which I was happy about, since it's all pretty much without me having to do anything after I set it up, and she says that I'm too "money focused", and I've got it all backwards, I should find a hobby I enjoy first, and then make money from that.
It was like I couldn't say anything without it being made negative by her. So I asked her why she was being like that, and she said, she thought I wasn't happy, and she was confused. While it's true there are things in my life I'm not happy about, that's not ALL I want to focus on, a person would go insane focusing only on the negative. And so she says, "I´m not the judge over anyones wasted potentials or perceived notions of a happy life." WTF? How condescending! And when I asked her to explain having made such a condescending statement, she says, all innocent like, "I'm your mother, all I said was that I wanted the best for you." I'm like, Um, no that's not what you said, you said my life was wasted, and that you should let me kid myself with pathetic attempts at justification for it. And she got all upset saying I was spitting on her trying to be loving, and she "couldn't win" and that she was leaving, which she did.

So today I had to go get a Rhogam shot because my blood is Rh negative and my husband is Rh positive. I've had this shot before, but...I don't remember having to pull down my pants and get the shot in the butt before  Maybe I blocked it out  | |

This is taking soooo long! I made a backup of all the files in My documents, including all my program set up files, and copied them over to my other computer, and then did a fresh installation of XP, and now I'm transferring my documents back onto my laptop. This ought to get rid of all the weird quirks my laptop had. Like How every time I'd start up my computer, the C: folder would pop up by itself, or how incredibly slow it was! Should be better now, we'll see.  | |
