I haven't slept properly in years. ever since my son was born, things have gotten worse. I hae nightmares and nightvisions that scare the hell out of me. I remember an ex wakin me up one night tellin me I kept screaming "no" in my sleep. I was dreaming about a very traumatic experience, but was surprised that it was still haunting me ten years later! I still have flashbacks to tha day and others, so I try to avoid sleeping at night. I also have dreams about what will happen in the future. my biggest fear is that ill dream about something happening to my son, or the death of my dad. I've never been wrong with my dreams, and that scares the F U C K out of me?

I've had tons of dreams like that too, that have come true, and waking premenitions as well..
not pleasant all of them, so I know what you are going through; however, I am not kept from sleeping as a result of it, but I used to suffer insomnia not related..

I'm sure that, like with me, not every single dream you've had has come true.
Having said that, with this all weighing on your mind, and your fear of this happening, may actuallly cause you to dream it simply by preying on your mind so intensely..
so if you do have such bad dreams, consider this..

I'll pray for you in the meantime, that you be given peace of mind..so sorry.

thanks hun. im getting ready to see a therapist for it. however, theres nothing they can do for my insomnia since I have a six month old son. I need to be able to hear him if he wakes. also, anytime I have a dream (i know which are premonitions subconciously) they DO come true. I dreamt a family friend was hospitalized for chest pain they thought to be a heart attack. my mother woke me up the next morning with this news. had a dream that afternoon it was acid reflux, told his wife and she found out TWO HOURS LATER that's what it was. how do explain this? I don't want to have these dreams. I don't want to dream about car wrecks, dead people, and especially not my past! I can't take much more.

I don't know..
but it's been given to us for a reason I believe..
and since you are 'aware' of your gift, you can take 'heed' to your dreams and possibly prevent something bad from happening..
If I'm in a position where I can make a difference, then I'd rather have the bad dream for what it's worth..

Maybe your doctor can give you something very mild, and non addicting to help calm your nerves, but not knock you out where you wouldn't wake to sound?
