Hi everybody. Well then, I'll start off by telling you my real name, Tom Donnelly. To be honest, I'm not sure why I chose this kebab_boy alias. Lol you must think that I work in a restaurant or something.
I'm fourteen years old, and in year nine at secondary school. I'm not sure what the equivalent of that would be in other countries. I think in Australia they have the same accademic years system, so all you aussis will know what I mean by year nine.
The school I go to is a special school for the visually impaired. I go there because, well, lol I am indeed visually impaired, I don't have any site at all.
Because of this, when I use the computer I use a screen-reading program called jaws. Jaws stands for job access with speech. I use my computer for homework, and I also enjoy going online and posting on here on TFS, which I have found to be an absolutely fantastic website.
My hobbies, apart from going online, are running, swimming, cycling, occasionally skiing, listening to music, listening and going to see soccer matches and hanging out with my friends. I might sound the sporty type because of some of these hobbies, but a year ago that wasn't the case, back then I was a bit over-weight. People say I've slimmed down in the last year, which is cool.
I get to persue some of these hobbies at school, where we are lucky enough to have a swimming pool and a gymm.
School life is pretty good, it's hard work, but the activities we do in the evenings, (as I stay there during the week), are quite cool.
Sometimes we'll go up to the soccer yard or the running track, or on other evenings we'll go to archery lessons, which are held in the school hall. Lol That must sound pretty dangerous, but it's really absolutely safe. There's a line which all the people who aren't shooting stand behind, and the people who are go in front of it.
At the weekends I go running with a bloke from the local running club, and listening to my favourite soccer team, Manchester United play. I got in to this team because they happened to be playing in the first footy match I took an interest in at the age of seven.
Also, weekends are the time when I come on TFS. Through this site I've come across a lot of fantastic people, and through reading their forum posts, It has improved my writing skills, for I know more about how to word things and express my views. I always like meeting new people and hearing what they have to say.
The song that I hope you can hear playing on this page at the moemnt is from simple plan, who are one of the artists I like. I also enjoy listening to Linkin park, the darkness, arctic monkeys, Bon Jovy, eminem, fifty cent, kanye west, jay-z, and lots of other rock and rap artists. I try to stay up-to-date with the latest music, though I'm on here so much that I keep forgetting to listen to the charts! lol.
