axles that had to be taken to the drive shaft subcontractor to be
taken apart with a bearing press. I was stressed because we leave
Friday Morning for the ATV trip, and the forecast is Mud.
My buddy who is out of work was to take the axles in, and he wouldnt return my texts all day, and I was thinking that the 4wd quad was
not going to make the trip. 3PM wednesday he tells me that its all
back together but its making a noise when he rolled it. When I got there last night at 7:30 I was shocked that it was completely re assembled but it made a noise when we rolled it. The drive shaft had
fallen out of the Ujoint and the gear case had to be moved forward
to make room to insert the drive shaft. I thought we were going to have to disassemble it again! We then loosened the gear case,removed all the skid plates again and we slid the axle in, and 2 hours later,I was riding it up and down the driveway in the snow piles.
Now I just have to pack my clothes and put the quads on the trailer
in the morning, and chop a bunch of kindling wood so that my wife can build fires while I am gone. This trip is going to happen!!!!!!!!!8 comments | Reply |

We used to be school friends and we've been friends for long time now, but when I decided to move to the big city from the little town where I'm from, many people though I was crazy , and many People decided that I didn't care about them any more because I was leaving. It is not easy to keep in touch after moving to a different country and going back home not more than 3 times a year... But the good friends will remain and I've never been so sure about it then now, I rediscovered my friend Diego this year in May when we had a meet up in Paris for 4 days and we talked just about everything that happen in about 1 year (it's impressive how little time I have every time I go back)... He found out he is gay, so many things have changed and no time to notice them. After couple of weeks I went back to Italy and I reserved a whole 2 days to my friends. and last week he came over to visit the city and see my new house, but most importantly spend time together... We have grown up since school years, we have taken different routes in our lives but still, the good friends will never lose each other. I am so happy of all the time spent together and of all the talking we have done... I know many people live abroad and I would like to know how they deal with it how do you keep in touch with friends back home? it's never easy but always brings you surprises.! More... | Reply |
