Public entry getting old
December 16, 2007 @ 11:03:42 am
Oh lordy lordy, in a couple of months I'll be Forty. Don't believe anyone that tells you that growing old is wonderful....IT SUCKS. Your boobs get saggy, your twat turns into an unatural colour and you start bitching about anything to do with young people (which is really only jealousy). The only good thing is that you can daydream about what you would do in your twenties if you knew what you know now. And how many times have we heard that???

Other than other people feeding you and wiping the drool off your face, growing old is fine...did I mention forgetfulness? wrinkles? new hair growth in the wrong places?Have your kids looking into retirement communities?Checking your diaper?

Oh my God its all down hill from now on isn't it? What about thinking any modern music is just noise, finding out through the radio that the songs you like are actually golden oldies.....and having to plan any outing that takes longer than an hour around your bladder!

I know what you mean. I find myself carrying on like my parents used to. And then I catch myself doing it and I think....What have I become

Pull their pants down, man. It's much more entertaining and they won't do anything to you because you're old.

I think we should all pull our pants down and show what we've got (wrong colour or not)

Sounds like it's the end of the road for you honey. You might just as well put on that shawl, sit in front of the fire and get that old chair rocking.

One of my most favourite things about being older, and therefore wiser, than the young bucks, is at work. I see so many of these thrusting young men and women getting dumped with more and more of the workload coz they've not yet realised you can get on by just doing your bit, no more, no less. No need for 60 hour weeks, taking stuff home, always saying yes to the boss. And, coz I got more experience, I'm probably earning more than them too! Hah!

Oh no no no, you see, in a perverse way I'm enjoying my oldness. I'm even considering becoming one of those old desperates that hang around RSL clubs dressed in fake tiger skins.
