| Correct me if I'm wrong, but if a child says to the school social worker " I want to take dad's gun and kill myself" and tells the dad its because of what Mom is doing, isn't it the social workers duty to act on it? Isn't it failure of duty of care if child abuse is reported to a teacher or any other employee of the school, and that person does nothing? | |

She wanted the easy way out. There are some good counclers out ther so I'm not saying this about all of them, but there are some that don't know how to do they're job and they do alot of damage bulls**tting their way through their career. I know legally if a child says they are being abused, there is a duty of care to that kid to act on it, whether you believe it or not. As a proffessional she should know that. |
