| I can't really stand school anymore, it's just another way for the government to posses my body and make me think what they want.... i can't stand having pointless facts and information shoved into my head for the well being of others at my expense. Nobody cares why a+b=c....I want to play my guitar in school without getting yelled at. In the words of John Mayer, i wanna run through the halls of my high school, i wanna scream at the top of my lungs i just found out theres no such thing as the real world, just a lie we have to rise above.

33108 points | You should look into charter schools.  The school I went to in 9th and 10th grade was awesome. We actually learned things that mattered, there was no heirarchy of students  teachers, we called the teachers by their first names. If we wanted to play a guitar in the hallway at lunch, or even in between, and even during classes, if you had a free period and you weren't disturbing another class, it was ok.
It was the Pioneer Valley Performing arts Charter High School. And it was the greatest school ever.  |

31294 points | I agree with you on the whole a+b=c issue. Thats like me having to take math for cooking, and all i learnt about was crap like line segments and stuff. Like when the heck am i going to be like "Oh! I wonder what the diameter of this loaf of bread is?! LET ME TAKE OUT MY HANDY DANDY CALCULATOR AND MEASURE!!!" like come on!! lol.
and 2... YOU CANT PLAY YER GUITAR IN SCHOOL?!!? sheesh, in my old school we had this thing called a "band room" lol. Our teacher was so awesome he let anyone in that place and they could play their insturments, have band practises, bang on drums all they want.. such like that.
Hope you get better. School is a marvelous thing, its hard to appreciate it now but when your out you'll be like whoa.. lol. |
