Mainly caused by excessive drinking it seems. He went into the hospital for a mundane, routine x-ray and stuff, and now he wont be coming back. He's expected to die within the next week. Two of my grandparents, both paternal, dying within two months. They are the young ones, only in their sixties. I lost mine just over a year ago and he was like a father to me so it broke my heart clear in two. He suffered but not for as long as he could have. There isn't a lot anyone can say to make your pain go away but would it help to offer some support? Stay strong.
