Miniature bat should be in order.

Hat, Sunglasses and sunscreen will not be, and I live in Scotland, I own many umbrella's!

Anyway, Scotland should beat the Black Caps on Thursday *ahem*.

well you can't lose by more than the Irish. Well I suppose that could be easily solved by batting first, as you probably won't be scoring 400 against us!

New Zealand scored 402 against them this morning and Ireland lost by 296 runs, a world record. Hope New Zealand turns up and gives you guys a show!

I know.

Was actually going to go to that game, I love the fact world records of cricket taking place in Aberdeen. Great to see a proper team coming to Aberdeen, probably the sporting event of the year for Aberdeen and they are expecting a grand total of 300 people over the three days!

haha thought you went to that match, and was very surprised to see that only 100 people turned up to watch. Yes cricket isn't the major sport in your part (take it the football is) and people are at work so couldn't make it.

Who knows, it might be awhile before that record is broken!

I was going to, but I can't really afford it!

It's a pity its on a weekday really, but yeah, Football is popular up here. No-one in Scotland seems to have much care for Cricket unfortunately, though my dad managed to score a VIP ticket to the game on Thursday by convincing his work that it will encourage community cooperation or something.

Lucky bastard.

A meal, free wine and an actual seat.

Actually, I could get a blanket. I'd rather bum it out with a few beers, sandwhiches and maybe even a pie than be sitting with old the old cogies sipping wine and eating a meal on a pristine seat.

haha sweet. Yeah the local ground for me link [en.wikipedia.org] has one small stand, but the gra** banks are better cause they are out in the sun all day

I think you're doing it the right way!

Looks quite nice, 11,600 capacity isn't too bad either.

My local (where the ODI's are being held) doesn't have any stands, and doesn't merit a wikipedia article.

The flat I used to live in was right next to it, so we used to be able to watch cricket from the balcony. Wish I still lived there now!

haha sweet as! Yeah the basin is the worlds biggest roundabout. A road runs right around the edge of the ground Its also quite easy compared to other grounds to hit the ball out of the ground! Hope the weather stays nice for you there is nothing worse than a rainy day for cricket
