I realized how easy it is to get caught in the gliter of the world without thinking about what the purpose of life is. I've been taught that life has a greater meaning then what world leaders give it. From the top to the bottom, people are chasing after wealth with deadly results.
My sister just died from a heart attack. She was very successful business person but very unhappy for some reason. She was 50 years old. She heft three sons, one who is serving his third year in the US Navy and the other two still trying to find their way. Her and quality of life makes me realize that life is more than the success defind by the world. Success is purpose, life and freedom.
Purpose is what we do naturally without effort like breathing. We feel good doing it regardless of the amount of money we earn doing it. In fact money starts to flow from it naturally. So money is not the objective. It's life for us. It not what we live to do but we live it. We are free when we do it. No one to answer to but our self.

26828 points | I do answer to someone but I feel that he is the same one who gave me life and a purpose. I do agree with you, so many people chase their ideas of grandeur only to fall short or see their goals reached while they remain empty.
I live to serve, that way I dont have anyone to disappoint. |
