Frederik (Willem) van Eeden coined this term and it is scientifically well researched and its existence is no more said to be doubtful. Wikipedia says : A lucid dream is a dream in which one is aware that one is dreaming. And Experts says: Lucid dreams refer to the awareness one can experience upon realizing that they are in fact dreaming, while still being in their dream state. There are no two different opinions about it. Everyone agrees to the point that lucid dreams are dreams where in one is aware of the fact that he/she is dreaming. This happens to be the most magical trance for anyone. Experts say, there can be two types of lucid dreaming. 1. DILD: (Dream-initiated lucid dream) begins like a normal dream but ultimately dreamer controls the climax. 2. WILD: (wake-initiated lucid dream) occurs when the dreamer goes from a normal waking state directly into a dream state, with no apparent lapse in consciousness.
