Public entry Employee Compensation Statement
June 25, 2008 @ 09:26:21 pm
What a load of bs this is! The company basically gives me a breakdown of what they feel is compensated to the employee. It includes social security benefits(which comes out of my pocket), medicare (again which come out of my pockt), the average annual premium paid for medical, dental and life insurance divided by each member of the association (not truly my benefit), profit sharing which I give them partial credit for (losing money btw), 401K match contributions program and again partical credit for that (losing money), the holiday gift which is a $25 gift card to Jewel. The total compensation looks as if they compensate me for twice as much as my 2007 gross was.

That's suppose to make me feel better or make my employer look better?

oy that's tough, but I am sure that it makes your employer look good to everyone around him who DOESN'T know what all these "benefits" are.

These supposed benefits are really from the government and providing Medicare only means they won't pay enough, so you qualify for it!

There was a really cool book I read about getting money from the government, you might qualify for some of those programs. I didn't qualify for much cause I still live with my parents.

Good luck with everything!

Well, I'm pretty sure I don't qualify for government assistance, but I'm open to hear about it as my sister could probably use some help right now.

wow, what a touch break you have there! Companies do this here also, we pay a large % for our benefits each week, so many deductions is just unheard of!

feel better!
