I hit a turkey

Yes, that is exactly what I did. I hit a wild turkey in the road. And it rolled into the grass. It was on a steep curve, so I was going slow as it was. So I got out to see if it was in the road or if any damages were on my car and the damn thing got up and started chasing me. It was all puffed up like just ready to fight. I think I would too if I got hit by a car. I hopped back in my car and there it was all puffed out next to my door. I had to lay on the horn a few times for it to finally decide to take off. I was crying I was laughing so hard on my way to work.

Only me.

Floods of Iowa

Last night why I was at a movie in Papillion, Nebraska one of the biggest storms ever hit Council Bluffs. We had marble sized hail and the shingles on our garage was blown off and branches were down. I was in a movie theater and oblivious to everything. Plus it was not as bad where I was. The streets looked like rivers and the bad thing is miles of corn was wiped out. Which means that a Sq. mile of corn estimated at $1 million is going to go up! So say hello to gas and food sky rocketing!
Will post pictures when I find my cord. Oh and Our power was knocked out all night.

Employee Compensation Statement

What a load of bs this is! The company basically gives me a breakdown of what they feel is compensated to the employee. It includes social security benefits(which comes out of my pocket), medicare (again which come out of my pockt), the average annual premium paid for medical, dental and life insurance divided by each member of the association (not truly my benefit), profit sharing which I give them partial credit for (losing money btw), 401K match contributions program and again partical credit for that (losing money), the holiday gift which is a $25 gift card to Jewel. The total compensation looks as if they compensate me for twice as much as my 2007 gross was.

That's suppose to make me feel better or make my employer look better?
