Just the random things that pop into my head while I try to sleep. I'm beginning to think I don't sleep, rather I just close my eyes for a long time until I think 4 to 5 hours have gone by.

| Why does it have to sleat and snow just when I need to get s**t done? Huh? I got my confidence up, I was going to get all this s**t done and NO , I can't go any where because of the freaking weather...WTF? | |

| So school has fully sucked me in now. 3 weeks in, a total of 5 chapters behind overall, and the work just keeps piling. I hope there is some hidden message at the end of it all, or I'm going to be pissed. | |

| So, I get yelled at when I'm in town by my folks because they always want me to spend more time together instead of go out with my friend. So, here's the deal. Everytime I do spend time with them, my mom goes and spends the whole day e-mailing her friends and my dad sleeps all day infront of the TV. So why did I waste that tank of Gas to go see them... I don't know. I got nothing | |

Ok, so here's the deal.
I've read more in the past week, then I did the entire fall semester. I can't get away with not reading the books in my 4000 level courses and it sucks ass. And the complete spectrum on subjects I've been reading on is just...wierd. One minute I'll be reading about the proper ins and outs of Homicide Investigation, next I'll move to the book about Race and Ethnicity in Politics, then I'm reading about Security issues in southeast asia. Then after a quick meal it's off to reading about Law of Corrections and Prisoners Rights, accompanied with the Criminal Court System. WTF? How am I supposed to keep all this information seperate in my mind and at the same time remember my name.

So I just lost my gas money to get home going all in on a flop pair of aces. He managed to pull out 2 Pair, while I was stuck with the two aces. Statistically I shouldn't have done it, but he wore me down.

So, my sleep schedule was so off, I couldn't go to sleep the other night because I would have slept through my alarm, which I made a habit of doing last semester. So, I stayed up and watched a couple movies then went to school.
That day sucked. Just like all the other days I stay up all night, I was a zombie. It was pretty much like my christmas break, only I actually had to leave my house. My last cla** of the Day I fell asleep during his lecture on his background. I guess I snored and caught his attention. Thankfully someone woke me up.
Went to bed at 8 o clock last night. Record time.

So, I tried to sleep, but found that I couldn't because my sleep schedule is all out of whack. If I had stuck with my current schedule, I might have woken up in time to miss the tail end of my last cla** of the day. I feel sluggish and my eyes hurt for some reason.
My problems are just even further heightened by the fact, I don't have my student ID, which means I have to go get a new one, which will take an hour (minimum), then go get my books (which is another hour to two hours minimum. I've got a meeting right after my last cla** gets out to. I guess I'll be trying to catch some Z's in my office on campus, but doubt that'll happen either.

School starts tomorrow so I actually have to try as best as possible to sleep. That pisses me off! Sleep is like 8 hours of s**t I can do, but if I don't get any sleep I can't concentrate.

Jake buddy, I feel ya, I feel your need to go to school. But seriously... GET A JOB! You apartment is probably disgusting because you don't clean it which would just lead us to further believe you have a poor work ethic. If you won't clean or even attempt to get a job, why would one think that by donating money to your cause of going to the New York Film Acadmey, you'll actually go and finish school.
We can't. Here, you need some help, here it is:
1. Apply to a lower cost cost school near you
2. Get a job somewhere and EARN some money to pay for school
3. Get better grades while at a local film school, do some good work, and get a scholarship to New York.

So this is what pisses me off today, imagine that, me pissed off. Anyways, the City Council of Kansas City created a new tax three years ago that would go towards the hiring of 20 new policement each year. The reason for this is because of Patrolling study that was done in 2000 which said KC has a horrible lack of patrolling where it's needed.
Anyways this tax went into effect and now, three years later, the Kansas City Police Department, which is supposed to be 60 men up, is now only 5 men up...Why you ask?
Has this tax money gone to the wrong people? Why doesn't the Police Dpt. have the money to hire more police?
Because in their ultimate wisdom, the city council and the mayor decided to take money away from the police budget since they were getting so much more money in...
AM I THE ONLY ONE THAT WANTS TO KICK THEM OUT A 40 STORY WINDOW!!!???
Everyone who hears this just reads it and sighs. Am I the only one getting pissed off about this? What the hell?
But they sure did come up with the scratch to build that new arena. So here's my new slogan for KC:
"Kansas City, you may get robbed, but atleast you saw a big 12 Basketball Game before you did" | |
