stressing out!!
Public entry (fake) GCSE results
November 16, 2007 @ 07:40:41 pm
Well, fake French GCSE results anyway.
bad news, i got a B on my writing, i was gutted and my parents won't be happy at all; also means that my mum will start giving me lessons again we just clash if she decides to play teacher
good news, i got A*'s in both listening and reading, but those are really easy exams because i can understand everything, so it's just like really, really, really easy English comprehension.
But i'm still pleased. Well, sort of

ok let me get something straight..

your 'ok' about getting a A* in one subject and getting a B in french. your either one of those people who have posh parents or just hate not being the best at something...

i had b's for ALL of my exams (proper yr 11 exams) and i was well pleased..

jesus whats the world coming too?

you don't understand. how would you feel if you went into a french country, took an exam in english, and then didn't get top marks in it? and my french teacher's getting at me for it (get substandard marks in other things too) and i am supposed to get TOP marks in the language which i'm meant to be fluent in. i'm not trying to say that B's are rubbish, but they are when it's your mother tongue. my dad's already blowing his top at me for not making an effort in my languages.
it's not posh to want not to disappoint people, is it?

and yes it does matter because the pressure is building i have to take GCSE french and also all my SATs this year in additon to the work having gotton doubly harder in year 9. it does matter. it gives an indication of the real thing, and the real thing is drawing closer, and i hardly know anything and as i explained before, i have to get top marks.

what do you mean? i have been perfectly civil so far, have i not?

no, it's my MOTHER TONGUE- the language which is my first, which i learned first to speak, meaning i've forgotton it, meaning, to my parents, that i haven't made enough of an effort to keep it up, meaning fireworks time and hitting the books time. it's not just that my mothr's french! god, why do i even bother laying out problems like these.

actually it was aimed at jasonsmith as i felt his comments were rather harsh for a journal. In future i will keep the hell out of it.

i apologize if i offended anyone in any way my last three posts were uncalled for, thank you to the people who made nice comments, and thanks also for the constructive criticism, i am alittle too much of a perfectionist, only the pressure is bulding, and, metaphorically speaking, my back is breaking.
