People make me so mad sometimes. Grrrrr!!!

I have my own messageboard that I started after I broke off from another messageboard. Several people left with me because they were unhappy with the other board, too. Many of them swore they had had it and wouldn't go back to the old board. Now, however, my board is practically deserted because everyone is back at the other board.

I've done everything I can to keep my board up to date and it hasn't been easy. I have some moderators but none of them post show recaps so I have to do them all. I can't keep a board going by myself so I don't understand why my friends would choose to go back to a place they said they despise rather than post at my board.

True, there are more people at the other board but if more of the main people had stayed at my board, we would have had a pretty good sized community. We have about 100 members. Unfortunately, only about 10 or less are active right now.

It just pisses me off because I can't go back to the other board and I don't want to give up on my board when I've put so much work into it over the years.

I've had the same problem with clans in games before, people just find it too hard to let go of something they have had for a long time, it doesn't make sense to them to leave it even if they hate it.
