I am the waffle chops!
Public entry My great weekend!
June 30, 2008 @ 04:46:28 pm
I had the best weekend, Me and my sis got taken out saturday night by our lil bro Scott, He was celebrating getting a new job, my sis was celebrating a dodgy interview and I was celebrating getting through an extremely difficult and highly emotional week.

Just getting ready sat night was fun, I havent got ready like that in so long and it just added to what was going to be a fabulous evening.

Scott took us to cafe uno in Enfield Town, a W8 went past so I asked if it went to witchford, the driver had no idea what i was talking about but it had been so long since i’d flagged down a W8 i just had to do it.

I had mussels in white wine sauce, Emma had a chicken ceaser salad and Scotty had spag bols with chips, salad and bread in olive oil soaked in balsanic vinegar...this was all followed by 2 massive ice creams, tirramasu and a bottle of wine, it felt so good to sit, eat, drink and talk wth out the men folk ruining it by farting, burping and calling everyone ‘John’.

We went onto the stag and hounds after to sit, er hem and natter, Emma got a 10 for the massive fart she let out in the beer garden and i nearly fell over when i got up to find the ladies...by then i was pissed as a fart.
We got slightly bored as the stag is a well known teeny bopper pub and girls screaming to get noticed was kind of waring thin so we decided to to hang man hill.

When I was a kid there was always stories going around school about the place, the mad man in the cemetery, the eye carved into the tree, the little people who lived in the tree’s and once on the hill not looking behind you or you’d die.
It took us a few minutes to find the place as epping forest is a very creepy, erie place and to be honest we was all crapping our pants because I forgot how dark the place is.

When we found the hill we switched off the engine took the hand brake off and very slowly started moving up the hill, its a very odd feeling knowing the engine is off and your slowly being pulled up a hill, everyone in the car was screaming and laughng so we drove round and did it again but this time there was a dare in place, when we got to the hill we had to get out and dance to music blaring from the radio in the pitch dark and then look behind us...anyone who has ever been knows how creepy the place is and i doubt there are many brave people that would get out of the car in the pitch dark to dance haha!

It doesnt sound much but any parent knows its hard to go out without feeling an ounce of guilt and you have to make the most of an evening, im so glad i went out in the end ad im glad it was spent with Emma and Scott

Yeah its a very frightening place, the legend is people were hung on the hill hence why its called hangman hill lol.

It feels like your very slowly being pulled up the hill and when you reach the top you very slowly roll backwards and then stop halfway on the slope.

I've googled the place but i think its a local thing cos i'd love to know more about the place and what pulls you up

No its not an amazingly steep hill but enough to feel yourself being pulled up it, i'll see if i can get a pic.
In the day time the place looks normal, somewhere you'd walk your dog but at night its a horrible place to be, no lights and its deep forest.
