I made some geese today. They're the best thing I've done so far. The picture doesn't come out that well, but you can sort of see the detail through the magnifying glass.
Worked on some autumn leaves too, not that happy with them though. Wanted more translucence. | |

I make them out of shrinky dink plastic. You draw your design on the plastic, color it in, and heat it up, and it shrinks... When the plastic is still warm (about 10 seconds), you can bend it to form different shapes and you can heat it at different temperatures to get different effects. You can even fuse pieces together like glass. I'll take pictures of the steps in the next entry.
