Because nobody gives attention to happy people because they don't "need" it. Like, when I was in elementary/middle school, I would get 90s, and my brother got tons of praise if he made it to a 70 something. I didn't get as much as him, still some though. One time I had a bad semester and my marks dropped to 70s and I got in trouble. Not really fair but they expected more of me I guess. Happy people just aren't expected to need/want attention, but we do.
