How in the hell did them dam cops get off for murdering that young black man on his wedding day! Their justification is pathethic, " We thought he was going to run us over with his car" If NYPD cops are that shaken and intimidated on the streets perhaps they should hang their badges up and take up Lacrosse or something!!!!
White people- I would just like you to know that you are the ones that create this atmosphere within America that draws in violence
and acts of terrorism. I hope you have a riot on your hands for the death of that young man, and its not just the Sean Bell case, The Jena 6, The Lady at rutgers- Our people are being attacked everywhere, What should we do about it? We should make trigga happy cops uncomfortable in our neighborhoods, we should start looking out for our own- If the shield is not going to respect us, We are not going to respect the Shield....
We need more people to get actively involved in Activism, Al-Sharpton is getting up there in age, no disrespect to the Bishop- but we have got to step it up- and fight this new surge of Black hate and white nationalism!!!!!! | |

I'm not too crazy about what this world is, so much ... bad... out there, but i have seen a lot of good too. You are pissed off, understandably so.....
I would NEVER hurt anyone, in any way... and there are a lot of people... like me, who would never hurt ANYONE.
I'm frightned of cops sometimes... never know what's up their a** that day, not just cops, anyone really.

What happened to that man is awful and it should never have happened but your attitude is only going to lead to even more blood shed.
It also sounds like you have a problem with authority but then that is just my opinion and i don't expect it with bother you a great deal.  |

The way to combat hatred and racism is not more hatred and racism.
Hate breeds hate. An "us versus them" mentality is exactly the problem, and responding with an even more vitriolic "us versus them" is counterproductive and divisive. |

Thats true jonnythan, all I am saying is that if you live in a neighborhood like mine the predominant Idea is us against them, It always has been since as far as I can remember. Not the best way of thinking, but thats how it is. |

He was shot in his car, after he ran it into a police van, during his bachelor party at a strip club when he left the club to go retrieve a gun from his car to settle an argument that broke out in the club.
And only one of the five officers involved was white. |

Look, the guy was drunk and in an argument in a strip club. A detective (who had never fired his weapon in the line of duty) heard someone say something about a gun right before Bell left the club to go to his car. The officers - two of whom were black, one of whom was white - confronted him as he got in the car. He stepped on the gas pedal and the officers fired their weapons.
It's unfortunate, yes. But this, like the Jena 6, is no case to rally behind while screaming racism.
But, hey, you know. I'm white. I'm one of "the ones that create this atmosphere within America that draws in violence and acts of terrorism" upon whom you wish violence and riots. So don't mind anything I say. |
