I'm really mad right now. My sister is getting married in September. I introduced her to her fiance and I'm really really happy for them. I'm a bridesmaid in the wedding and with that comes responsibility. Since our other sister lives out of state a lot of the bridal shower planning has been put on my lap. Fine. I don't mind at all, I'm happy for her.
We had set a date for the bridal shower that worked for everyone involved. Then yesterday, my out of state sister says that date won't work for her. Her dog is now entered into a dog show. So she wants to change the date to the next earliest weekend, which just happens to be the weekend I am planning on going to a festival out of town. NOW I have to cancel my plans for her f**king dog show. I'm mad. My sister, the Bride to Be, told me to go to the festival anyway. I just wouldn't feel right doing that. I have to be there for her. It's her party and I'm planning it. Every other weekend till she gets married is booked with other weddings or Labor Day weekend. So the weekend of my festival is the only one that can be doable. Sometimes selfish family members drive me up a wall.

She's my sister and I'd do anything for her. I guess that means giving up the festival that I've been going to for the last 3 years and make the plans a year in advance.

	Why would sister move a wedding date for a dog show? I wouldn't expect wedding dates to revolve around my horse shows, for cripes sake. Why didn't engaged sister stick to the date and tell your other sister sorry can't do it????

	Out of state sister would have to just miss out on the event. She's not the hostess so it was wrong of her to expect plans to be changed just for her. Do what the bride says (since she's the GOH) and continue with the party as planned. Out of state sister will just have to go her dog show instead of laughing it up with the girls.

	Out of state sister would just have to suck it up if it were my wedding. That's selfish. And it's not fair that you have to give up YOUR event in the process of accomodating hers
