Hypoglycemic Hallucinations
This is what I wrote the last time I got really drunk.
Public entry Posting on TFS is often like fishing.

If the topic you're posting in is in a coma, making a post is like fly fishing. You reply, hoping that you'll hook someone onto the topic before it falls out of the Recents list.

Damn, I gotta try fly fishing some day.

I wish I were the one who took the picture, though.

Like fishung eh!

I guess ... insofar as I spend hours just sitting here, chucking loads of 'bait' into the waters without so much as a bite. And when I've finally had enough .... I go away absolutely stinking!

I was hoping the smiley would release me of the responsibility of coming up with something to say.

I'm always fishing, but I never know what I'm looking for until I see it.

There's a quote...think it's Mark Twain... and I have to seriously paraphrase, but the jist of it is this: We're missing sometihng, we don't know what, but oh how we long for it.
Your comment made me think of it. Also made me think of U2's song, but I figured a Marck Twain quote, even paraphrased, was more profound.

Hey, I put Bono right up there with Mr. T(wain)

Plus, as long as I don't know what I'm looking for, I'm generally happy with what I've already got
