November 10, 2009 @ 01:06:53 am | I don't know why, but it seems like today is meant to be really hard day for me.
My coworker, Chad, has been angry for a while now, but tonight was the final straw for him I guess. I'll give you some examples of what happened.
1)Tonight, we had someone call in saying we called them. I checked and they weren't in our system. The guy actually was a National Guard recruiter and at the end of our conversation, he started to recruit me. It seemed pretty funny to me. I told him I couldn't join because I have Asthma and we hung up. I was telling a fellow coworker about it and Chad practically yells over the cube "Why did you give your medical information to a stranger on the phone?" Then he went on a little rant saying "why don't we just give them your Social Security Number?", etc. It was really uncalled for and very embarrasing for him to say those things.
2)Somewhere in my talking up at the front desk, I happened to say the word "dude". Chad proceeds to come up to me and ask if I had said that word while I was dealing with a student. I told him I wasn't sure. He actually got upset that I said "dude". 
3) Then he got on me for not updating the colors on our calendar (to say if the appointment showed or not). I was going to update it shortly, but he got on me for that.
So I guess he went to my boss and asked to move to a cube in the back, away from the front desk. Part of me is glad because he's been annoying me for a while. But another part is wondering what the heck is going on and why is this happening. I thought we were buddies, but evidently not.
Also, he's been talking to all of his coworkers in his department about this situation, or that's what I believe is going on. Everytime I walk by they get very quiet. I know that I might be assuming that they're talking about me and I know the saying about assuming. This just isn't a good time for me and I'm dealing with so many other things that I just feel like I can't handle this.

October 28, 2009 @ 04:33:34 am | So tonight I came home from work and my neighbor's car lights were on. I thought nothing of it and thought the car was running.
Then I went to the grocery store. Then I came back and noticed that not only were they're car lights on, but they were very dim.
Now this was about 11pm tonight. I thought "oh crap, I better tell them the lights are on". I didn't think it would be too big of a problem waking them up after I saved them from a dead car in the morning.
So I go over and ring the doorbell a couple times. Nothing happened, so as a final try I knocked. I was just about to leave when I hear a loud yell. They didn't say words they just yelled out the window to scare me off.
So I said "to hell with it" and I walked off. So much for doing the right thing. Now they'll deal with a dead battery and the teen will look like an a$$ in front of his mom when he tells her that someone tried to get their attention the night before.
Question: Would you rather have someone wake you up late at night for this or would you rather wake up the next morning with a dead battery?13 comments | Reply |

October 26, 2009 @ 11:31:13 pm | Well last Saturday I attended my Great Uncle's funeral. He had died last Tuesday from a long battle with cancer.
I'm actually relieved in a way, because he was suffering so much. Now he is at rest. 
I just wanted to say that suprisingly, I was a little offended during the ceremony. We had just finished the funeral and I found out that we were putting his casket in the hearse, and then we were going to eat lunch.
Ok, I know he is gone and in a better place, but for some reason it offended me that we were going to each lunch while his body was sitting in the car outside. I mean, why not bury him and then have a meal? I know that if it was my funeral, I wouldn't allow them to do that (I would put it in writing before I died, not like I would come back or anything).
I'm just wondering if it's weird that I was offended?

I'm just tired of my life... I can deal with the stresses of school and work, but I'm just tired of certain people and the way my life is going. I want to smack people sometimes and lately it's turning out to be a lot of people.
As for my life, well this may sound like everyone else, but I'm tired of being alone and tired of trying to find someone. I've done the whole go after a guy thing, I've tried the whole wait for the guy to come to you, and I'm just really tired. It seems that nothing will work for me. It's like I just want someone right now, without all the work involved...wouldn't that be nice? Wouldn't have to go on the first couple dates, wouldn't have to ask about them, because we would already know each other and be with each other. If life could be so accommodating.
I guess right now I'm confused, frustrated, and edgy as hell. I just wish the people I like would like me in return and we would get right to the point of dating. I hate going back and forth, watching what I say and trying to interpret what he's saying. Just get to the point people!!! Either tell me you like me or tell me you don't. Don't give this, "I think we need to hang out more" crap!
As you can see this is a venting post..

August 13, 2009 @ 08:34:15 pm | So today is a good day... I actually have the day off work and I'm loving it. I'm just relaxing and enjoying it.
Tomorrow I'm going to Valleyfair (an amusement ride park in Minnesota)... I'm so excited.. I love rollercoasters and they have a newer wooden one that I've never been on.  I'm going to have lots of fun..

June 25, 2009 @ 06:09:07 pm | Tomorrow I'm leaving for Colorado.  I'm going to spend the whole weekend there and come back Monday night. I'm so excited. I'm going to be staying at a horse ranch and drive around the area in a rental car. I'm going to ghost towns, old mining towns, Mesa Verde National Park, and hopefully Four Corners.
