Bad couple of days...

Yesterday, my mom fractured her foot.

She was walking down the stairs when she suddenly heard (and felt) a 'snap' sound from her foot. She crawled up the stairs and then fell down while she was in the bathroom.

Luckily I had woken up before she fell in the bathroom and I helped her get to her room. After a little while I took her to urgent care and we found out she had fractured her 5th Metatarsal (which is the bone that turns into your pinky toe farther down the foot). So she had a splint put on and we made an appointment to see an orthopedic doctor the next day.

So today we confirmed that it was a fracture and found that this injury takes the longest time to heal. So we're talking months people! Luckily mom was able to get a walking cast, though she's still in a lot of pain. The problem was, we had to go to another clinic to get the cast, because the first clinic has had supply problems for a couple weeks and they didn't have any supplies!!!

So we've been driving around all day and then I had to work tonight. But of course tonight is a very, very busy night... So I feel like I'm about to drop dead at the moment. I'm so tired..

So I hope that my week will be a little better after this unfortunate event... Though my day is looking up, I get this Thursday off work!!

	thanks! Yeah my mom has been having a bad couple of days, but hopefully she'll be feeling better soon
