Yesterday, my mom fractured her foot.    She was walking down the stairs when she suddenly heard (and felt) a 'snap' sound from her foot. She crawled up the stairs and then fell down while she was in the bathroom.
Luckily I had woken up before she fell in the bathroom and I helped her get to her room. After a little while I took her to urgent care and we found out she had fractured her 5th Metatarsal (which is the bone that turns into your pinky toe farther down the foot). So she had a splint put on and we made an appointment to see an orthopedic doctor the next day.
So today we confirmed that it was a fracture and found that this injury takes the longest time to heal. So we're talking months people! Luckily mom was able to get a walking cast, though she's still in a lot of pain. The problem was, we had to go to another clinic to get the cast, because the first clinic has had supply problems for a couple weeks and they didn't have any supplies!!! 
So we've been driving around all day and then I had to work tonight. But of course tonight is a very, very busy night... So I feel like I'm about to drop dead at the moment. I'm so tired..  
So I hope that my week will be a little better after this unfortunate event... Though my day is looking up, I get this Thursday off work!!

First of all, I had a busy week. I worked a lot and yesterday I went to my cousin's grad party. There was a lot of food and it was fun.

Well I got last Saturday off from work and went up north to my Grandma's cabin!
It was really great up there.. surrounded by nature and hanging out on the private lake  I also got to go to the Casino for the first time, lol. Lets just say it was really fun, but very smokey..
I had a pretty good time, but there were some problems.
The weather decided to be evil and there were 3-4 tornadoes down where I live.. Luckily our house didn't get hit, but my Uncle's house and truck got lots of damage..
Also on the last night/day up there I got my cousin's cold and I still have it  
But I think it was worth it to go up

From exhaustion... I've been working and running (driving) around a lot this week and I'm about to fall over.. and the bad thing is I still have to work tomorrow...
Today alone, we had the fire alarm go off, where we had to call the cops because we believe someone pulled it. Then there was an emergency that had me running across the building to get one of my bosses to handle it. I'm just so tired...
The only good thing coming up is tomorrow night.. My mom got some Twins baseball tickets for her b-day, so we will join some of my family members and go to the game. The great thing is we also get to go on the field and meet the players!!! So at least that's something to look forward to.
Other than that, it's been ok..

Recently, my boss asked if I had another PT job and if I wanted to come back to get my BA degree. I told him that working at the college was my only job and that I really wanted my BA degree, but I would need my hours to be bumped up to 25 hours per week.
Well, my boss totally agreed that I had a crappy amount of hours (17 per week) and he said that if I really wanted to my BA then he would see if I could get more hours!!!
The great thing about this is that not only do I get more money and free tuition (only have to pay for books), I also will get healthcare and vacation time!!! *jumps for joy*
I hope I do get 25 hours, cause I really need it right now... A week or so ago, my dad had to drop our health insurance, so we can't get sick or injured any time soon. More hours will be a great relief to me, so I don't have to worry about how I can afford my medicine or going to the doctor.

Since I have been on here...
Let's see.. A week ago yesterday, my cousin took a plane to France and she'll be back Friday I bet she's having a great time...
What else...ummm... I went to the Zoo yesterday and got some great pictures... and I also had the "spectacular" experience of watching the male and female lion getting it on!!   and I also got to hear a mother talking to her kids.. she was like "oh kids, look, the lions are playing.." then a minute later she says "oh... they're not playing.. don't look kids!"  Everyone was laughing...
I've also been working and that's where I am now.. I look outside my window and I can see white..
That's right folks, it wouldn't be Minnesota without an end-of-March snowstorm Tonight we're supposed to get 8 inches and it has been going all day... The great thing is I don't leave 'til 10pm, so I'll have to deal with the "lovely" traffic and the roads.
Other than that it's just been working and reading books...

So last week was really crazy, lol.
I turned 21  Had some wine coolers and got a major headeache
Also, last tuesday I went to the library and was a witness to a major fight and almost got into the middle of it!
I was sitting at a computer surfing the net when these 6-7 young guys started running through the library. They were chasing this 1 other guy and they ended up fighting at the reference desk a few feet away from me. The poor librians got into the middle of it and got smacked around.
Then they kept chasing him until he grabbed a metal library sign and started waving it at them. The whole thing was going on for about 5-6 minutes and everyone was screaming "Where's security!!!", "Call Security!!". Turns out that there had even been extra cops at the library when I got there and it still taken them a long time before they came and put the victim (guy with the sign) in hand cuffs.
A couple of the guys ran out of the building and some deputys chased after them.
When that happened, I said "to hell with researching, I'm not dying over research!" So I left. As I was turning on to the main road I saw one of the deputys with his gun in his hand going toward the Best Buy store.
In the morning I found out that those guys had regrouped and did a little shoot out at that Best Buy store. Its a good thing I left or I could have been in the crossfire
But don't worry I'm ok

I'm back!
I keep saying that it seems that my life has gotten very busy with work, work, and more work so if you don't see me for a while you'll know why 
Just wanted to wish everyone a belated Merry christmas and a Happy New Year!!
My days have been busy and crazy and I really can't tell you what day it is and sometimes I can't tell you what my name is I'm so tired...
Oh yeah.. I just found out yesterday that something I REALLY wanted (Nintendo DS) is officially sold out across the country and I probably won't be able to get one for a couple months and no I'm not shopping on Ebay or online... cause I just don't do that sorta thing
I know this post has probably confused you.. so I think it's a good time to stop
