I'm a grandfather. That's first because, well, that's first, clearly. At the moment it's just the one, James, but his l'il brother is on the way this May, please God.

Which, I guess, is second; While I don't profess to any particular religion I have a very deep-rooted belief in God and a very unique view of the relationship between God and Creation. In fact, my view of God doesn't correspond to the common view of God either. Don't worry, my gratitude and amazement are more than good enough.

The boring bit is that I've been in IT since 1975 and don't know nuffin, nuffin I tell ya - Bring Back Cobol!

I'm an easy going type, broad interests, love to debate. I'm pleased to meet anyone who has something to say, provided they don't mind an honest answer or opinion.

But it's not all about intellectual stimulation, a little play never hurt anyone, and I err on the side of the ridiculous to an imense degree. Jokers welcome.
