My God some people are annoying! I have a toddler and I swear I have not slept past 6 am in almost 2 years. I am stupid enough to let my boyfriend sleep in when he has a day off or if he starts work a bit later (which is maybe 3 - 4 days per week). If I ask for a sleep in he makes up some excuse for me not to. I'm tired! Lately my son has been waking up between 4.30 am and 5.00 am because there's birds outside his bedroom window that, for some weird reason, chirp before the sun comes out.
I know my boyfriend works hard and long hours, but I do too. Being a Mum is NOT easy. You can't even go to the toilet alone, let alone have a nice, relaxing shower. You are chasing after someone all day, changing nappies, cooking, cleaning. Not incredibly physical but it's the fact that you can't just sit down and have a cup of coffee when you want one. I love my son to bits and I don't want to be without him.. maybe just for an hour or so in the morning while I try to catch up on some sleep hehe | |

Ogler 20774 points | In my experience ive always thought that being a house mum is the hardest job anyone can take its not just pysically draining its also mentally draining ure stressed, ure nerves are fraid u just dont wanna take ure eyes off that kid for a second cause u know somethin will happen if you do. I watched my nephew everymornin for like 7 weeks and i was exhausted and that was only like 3 hours a day if that i dont know how u women can do it all day i say get the guy up! works easier than what you do (unless u work in a creche or nursery)! |

Ogler 29655 points | Talk with your boyfriend.
You are going to have to work out some sort of shedule between you that allows for you to both catch up on some needed sleep..
You must, not just for your own sake, but for you son's..
He needs you to be alert for him at all times, and you simply cannot if your are run down..not to mention, you can't be as 'fun' a mum as you would be had you been more rested..
..Stop spoiling the man, and reach a workable compromise..sounds to me like you really need it. - Good luck. |

Recruit 15 points | you should get your little one used to sleeping with noise. that way he doesn't wake up to the birds and you can get some rest |
