AND re-asking the same basic question fifty times is not going to change the answer! Grrrrrrrrrrr....
I have a cow-orker that drives me nuts sometimes! Joy for me she's the only other one working here today!
Don't get me wrong, she a nice lady, and generally really intelligent, she just seems a little lacking in social skills. She one that always comes to talk to you while your eating, or wondering why asking a question while you are on your way to the bathroom is a bad idea.
This week I was only scheduled for 3 days, then I ended up getting sick last weekend, so I called in 2 of the 3. So of course she wanted to know what was wrong and if I was alright. I'm better, not 100%, but ok enough to work. So she's standing at me desk and I tell her I've had allergy issues, (Damn Cottonwoods) and to top it off my back/hip is still a little sore, but I am feeling better.
Ok...keep in mind I have the drugs on my desk, and she talks to me all the time so she knows most of my issues and all about Knight being injured and that extra drama in my life.
So I tell her: "I thought I might have pulled a muscle in my back, because it hurt too, but I noticed I have a large bruise on my hip, in the area, so that might have been what hurt. I don't know know what I did, I can't figure it out, but it's getting better. I'm just glad it is slow today."
She then goes on an almost 20 minute verbal quest trying to find out how I got a bruise. Which I answer "I don't know, I don't remember doing anything that could have caused it." Repeatedly. Coming up with crazy scenarios for how it happened... I don't know...really, I don't. AND SHE WON'T STOP!!!!!!!!!! For like TWENTY FUCKING MINUTES!!!!!!!!
And people wonder why I get annoyed by her?
Grrrrrrrrr. Seriously, I'm a bit of a klutz, I run into things all the time, I don't notice it much anymore, I haven't fallen lately. It could have been anything. It could have been from a door hitting my hip as it closed, really it wasn't that bad, except combined with the coughing and extra sleeping from being sick, it wasn't a good combination. OR I could have pulled it helping Knight do something. Either way, I told her this.... and that it's getting better, but she can't accept why I don't remember.
What is so hard to understand about the phrase "I don't know" and why can't some people just accept that as an answer?
