Well, Tomorrow is the day!

Tomorrow is my dreaded, long put off surgery. Nothing major, just on my had. On one of my many many accident prone days I severed the major tendon to my thumb when I broke a piece of glass.

Unfortunately for me who is also a procrastator, that was 5 months ago and now it can't just be simply repaired. I am such an idiot and now I have to have another tendon from my index finger removed to repair the thumb.

Actually I was misdianosed in the emergency room the day it happened. They said it was nothing and to go home. I only had a space of 2 weeks to get ir repaired simply but because of them I have to endure. Oh well, I'm not complaining (too much) and am looking forward to being able to use my thumb again.

Not looking forward to not being able to get on the computer for a few days as I am now addicted to this Forum and think everybody is just the best! Well, 99% are the best. I will miss browsing your threads so much! When I am healed and better, I am hoping to get into a nice drunken state with some of you who do that often and get into some deep, unusual, no holds barred converstations. I am more outgoing when intoxicated. Too much of an introvert without so I am usually hesitant to post or start new topics.

Be good everyone and I will be back as soon as I can.

Ta Ta for now because goodbye is too dreary a thought!

	Our son's best friend had to go throught a similar proceedure a few years ago and he's back playing the piano again and hardly any side effects. I was in for abiopsy on my hand just before Christmas and the surgeon did it all under a local. It all went well and I'm sure you will be fine. All the best
