I have not long joined, it really is kinda fun and no joining fee..Still not really sure I understand the reason behind it though. Sending kinky pokes, meat and cyber hearts, well all sort of not real stuff.
I am the only one that thinks it is a weird concept?? | |

I prefer myspace since you can personalize your profile. I hate the applications on facebook....they're kinda pointless. |

Yeah, the apps clutter your page and I saw a report that said they weaken your privacy. |

Yeah, some applications use your log in info to spam. It doesn't really matter what website you go to, you will get spam. Just have to be smart about it. |

It's a way to keep tabs on, communicate with, and find friends.
The site is by and large organized into communities, which are based around school, physical location, interests, etc. For example, I'm in (among others) a group dedicated to Canon digital cameras and another group dedicated to caving. My friends post pictures of their latest adventures, I write on their walls, they PM me asking if I want to go diving, that kinda thing.
Most of my real life friends, friends back home that I went to school with, and family members are on Facebook. |

22265 points | Facebook is great for getting reconnected. I was just reconnected with a friend last night. Made me very happy indeed.  It's also great for keeping in touch with friends. I even use it for my local people. And I actually like some of the apps. I know. I'm weird. |
