So the scene here is a fantasy landscape. If you can imagine Arthur's Seat in Edinburgh then we're on the top of that. For those having a problem then click here It's big, rocky and has plenty of cliffs on it too. Now this is the scene of a battle between good and evil. We have a big magic battle going on as well as fights between magical creatures. It is chaos. In the middle of this, we have a girl, Pauline. She's just found her dad, the only relative she had left, lying dead.*"Dad! Dad come on. Wake up Dad please!" SHe stopped as she heard someone walk up behind her. She turned to see Robert Fox behind her.
"I'm sorry," he said. "I tried to help him but I got there too late."
"What happened? Who did this?" she asked.
"It was your cousin, Celia. He challenged her and she fought dirty," he replied.
"Where did she go?" Pauline asked quietly.
"Over in that direction, towards the cliffs. I'm not letting you go after her Pauline."
"YOu don't have a choice," she replied. SHe threw her hand out towards him, sending him down to the ground. SHe then ran past him, searching for Celia.
Finally she saw her enemy standing near the edge of a cliff, the sun rising behind her. Pauline reacted instinctively, her powers bursting out to throw Celia off the cliff.
When she realised what she had done, she sank to the ground. SHe had reached a point of no-return. She had taken a life. |
