| Well, nearly. I don't know about other cat owners but we seem to have one with no brain or a death wish. OH just came home and opened the bonnet to put anti-freeze in the engine. Came in, went out again to shut bonnet and go off out. Noticed cat curled up just before slamming bonnet on it. cat flat on the mat. | |

16905 points | In an apartment where I once lived, there was a huge fan at the end of the entranceway hall. A cat tried on several attempts to exit thru the fan and was damnear beaten and lacerated to death. He finally gained an exit on the 17th try.  |

1557 points | My housemate's sister used to have a car (back in the day) with quite a bit of space between the bonnet and the engine, one of their cats crawled in to keep warm and was killed by the boiling engine  They have gotten rid of that car now but they always tell everyone to check under the hood/bonnet. |

5245 points | | Cat's are lethal. They find the most ridiculous place to sleep and blame you if they melt or burst. I hit ours in panic recently because I opened a drawer to put some clothes away and it sprang up in suprise and frightened the life out of me so I punched it by mistake. No harm done to cat, incidentally. |
