Public entry Jack Frost Nippin' ...
December 11, 2007 @ 05:59:30 am
I'm sure many are not thrilled with the way the weather has been lately. But if you really look out your window at the scene in your yard, or maybe even look down your road... I think it looks spectacular.

I have this small pine tree right outside the front door in the yard, and the bottom half just sags cuz of the weight of the frozen water that has clung to its needles & branches. The upper half of the pine tree looks beautiful to me. It looks like the pine tree was wrapped with cyrstal. It stands there majestically straight & tall. Then as I was driving to work today, peering out of the windshield down my road... it reminded me of a scenery from a story like the Chronicles of Narnia. All the tree's branches were covered with ice. The sky was cloudy & overcast. But when I looked down the road, the view looked mystical. Oh if only I had a real 35mm camera... I could envision the photos that could be captured through the lens. Natures wonders & beauties was shown today (and will probably make an appearance the next couple days). I know many don't care when the weather is not so pleasant; but I try searching for the beauties that Nature gives along with crappy weather.

Taking the good with the bad, or seeing the beauty in things that may not always be to desirable. Its sometimes just in the way we view things. We could be missing out on some great things. Thank you, you make a great point with this.
