 Let me just start by saying...He’s not as predictable as he thinks! So I have this good friend, and he & I over the last few yrs have really gotten closer in knowing each other. Then this summer came and we got a little intimate. As summer started to wind down, he began to get what I call “weirded-out” (comparison to freaking out). We didn’t speak much to each other (more on my part of not speaking – was trying to give him some space) for a little over 2 months.  I even went so far as to make myself “invisible” or “unavailable” online. But about 3 weeks ago, I was online & had forgotten to go into stealth mode. He got a hold of me using instant message. So we chatted. We confessed to each other that we still wanted to see each other (not meaning sexually – okay maybe a little sexually  ). It was a very surprising conversation we had, and continued to have the rest of that week. It was like we never stopped chatting to each other for those 2 months. We made arrangements for him to come over to my house on a Friday night about 1 ½ weeks ago. He came over, and again it was if we had never been apart. That Friday night he surprises me again… people text him asking him if he is still going to go out with them. Okay so here is another moment of him surprising me…I was sitting close on the floor with him watching a movie, and he positioned the cell so that –if I wanted to-I could see what the text said. Of course I did peek and saw the text messages. He would start out replying to them, then delete the message & close his cell phone and lay it aside (kinda like ignoring the cell & them). Anyways, we wound up having some (ehhem) “playtime” that night. He got “weirded-out” again and left rather quickly. Once again, we haven’t really chatted since that Friday night. I do understand that he is having some confusion about what has been going on with each other. I’m sure this sounds selfish; but, I really don’t want to loose his friendship over sex. I cannot take the sex back. And truth be told… I wouldn’t want to take it back! It was GREAT! Well, I sent him an e-mail a couple days ago. I figure someone has to make a move… so I did. I told him I wasn’t sure I should be asking him and that I was a “lil scared of rejection” (added the rejection part cuz I know he is afraid of me rejecting him & I wanted to show/tell him that I feel the same) but that maybe we could hang out on a Saturday very soon. The town he is in has a really nice mall that has an indoor Merry-Go-Round. He and I (along w/ my nephew & his lil bro) went to the mall in the month of March this year, and that’s when I saw the Merry-Go-Round. I had told him that it was my favorite ride. He said he wanted us to go to the mall again some time so we could go on the Merry-Go-Round. SURPRISE… he replies to my e-mail that he was going to go the last home football game with some buddies in that town & tailgate. But he definitely wrote “but if u come up i just won’t drink and when u get here i can leave.” He thinks he is so predictable… I always tell him that he is so wonderful because he is so unpredictable, and full of surprises when people least expect it. |
