Über-Minister 18521 points | Each time either of my kids have had a birthday, I have waited till everyone had gone home and they were asleep and I'd have a cry... It's got to be one of the hardest thing you'll face as a parent, watching them grow out of their babyhood. The upside is that at this age, the communication levels increase and you things happen on a daily basis that make you go "wow". Happy Birthday to your little one, |

Kids really do grow up fast. I don't have any of my own but I have been babysitting this one little girl since she was about 3 weeks old. I actually babysat her when she was just 19 days old. One day after my own birthday. I'm amazed that she's 3 now, can walk, is potty trained, can't stay quiet, and will get into everything if given the chance.
My mom says all the time that me and my brothers grew up too fast. One minute we didn't want the lights off because monsters in the hallway closet might get us. The next, we're off to college. But we're all still fearful of spiders. I guess you'll always need mom for some things. |
