i just hiked 3 1/2 hilly, rocky miles through the woods actually carrying my 10 month old while hes twisting and reaching to see everything... that was a hell of a workout... my arms feel like absolute jello... but it was so fun... he gets just so excited...

	I'm a surveyor, so sometimes we get paid to survey mountains. they're the best jobs but they usually end up taking like 12 hours, GPS doesn't work in most mountains cause of all the tree cover so we have notes from other surveyors that are often times around 50+ years old, so we get to hike all day trying to find evidence of what they did.

	a friend of mine did that til her company went under... i always thought that sounded like a cool job... she liked it...

	yeah one of the few construction related jobs that women do, and ofter times (at least when it comes to drafting, and calculating cut and fills etc) they're better, although I have yet to even here about a women bluetopping a mile of road. all in all its a sweet job but it gets soo hot here that sometimes i wonder if its worth it.
