My first grandchild

Today is my sons 19th birthday and this afternoon i took him and his girlfriend for the scan of their baby,my first grandchild.
It's finally sunk in that i am going to be a grandma,it was strange standing in the same hospital in the same maternity unit which i was in 19 years to the day.It made me also realise how fast time flies.
I am really excited now and am looking forward to the birth in July.

you must be so excited i remember watching my 16yr olds scan and kept saying look at his heart,i also said he would have a piggy nose and he has,all my friends said it looked like a weather map but it was my babys first pic and blew me away,i am now on my 2nd marriage and getting ready to try again although there will be 16 years between....not quite as bad as my sis she had 19 years between her kids,good luck and it wont be long before you can have that much awited for cuddle
