Public entry Back...
March 13, 2005 @ 12:04:13 am
Hi everyone,
It has been ages (it seems) since I have posted.
My pc was hijacked, I had to buy a new one...then I forgot my password here...tried to get it re-sent to me...that had a little glitch somehow...but all is fine now. I just wanted to say hi.

Public entry Give and Receive
February 02, 2005 @ 07:38:23 pm
I needed this today...so I thought I'd share it with you all.
I hope your day is a good one,
Sharon

Give and receive
Give a little kindness, and receive friendship in return. Give an extra effort, and receive even more value in return.
Give an honest answer, and receive trust in return. Give a smile, and receive joy in return.

Give with real meaning, and receive fulfillment in return. Give thanks, and receive true abundance in return.

Give your full attention, and receive a positive experience in return. Give your knowledge, and learn something in return.

Give what you treasure most, and receive much more of it in return. Give what you can, and receive the best of who you are.

Give of yourself. And receive a life of richness in return.

Public entry Doing anything special today?
January 29, 2005 @ 05:46:02 pm
Saturday is my "domestic diva" day.
Laundry, scrubbing the house from top to bottom, and planning a good feast for the evening.

I should really be out shopping or doing something a little more exciting

What's everyone else doing today?

Public entry You Choose
January 28, 2005 @ 09:46:15 pm
You choose
There are endless opportunities for joy in this moment, and there are endless opportunities for misery. Which will you choose?
There are plenty of great reasons to move forward with life, and just as many excuses for doing nothing. Which will you choose?

There are all sorts of challenges that will help you grow stronger, and numerous ways to avoid them. Which will you choose?

There are things you can do that will create much value, and other things that will merely pa** the time. Which will you choose?

There are ways you can follow the best of your dreams, and ways to avoid any effort at all. Which will you choose?

The life you live is made up of your choices, in this and every moment. You have the choice now, so which life will you choose?

-- Ralph Marston

Public entry Endless....
January 27, 2005 @ 04:30:30 pm
Earl made me think of something that always ends up baffling me.

Does the fact that the universe is endless mess with your brain? I try to imagine it going on and on and on...but I'm so used to thinking in terms of a beginning and an end. A starting and a stopping point...
But something that just goes on forever is mind boggling to me....and yet it can't possibly end because at the end of something is the beginning of something else...right?

Public entry A Rule

Who in here knows what "the golden rule" is?
And it has nothing to do with peeing or showers!

Public entry Perceptions
January 25, 2005 @ 07:52:42 pm
Perceptions
What if your limitations were all an illusion? What if you were being held back, not by your circumstances, but by your mind? Though it is easy to recognize the perceptual bias of another, your own perceptions are more difficult to distinguish from reality.

In many ways the world you see is of your own making. Consider what that could mean. The obstacles you perceive may not really be there if you could get your mind beyond them. The limitations against which you struggle could be gone the instant you change your viewpoint.

What may appear to be cold, hard, immutable reality could melt away and be transformed by the power of your own perceptions. Though it is foolish to ignore reality, it is tragic to be frozen by it.

What if you could change the world and didn't know it? What if you suddenly figured it out? Look beyond the obvious. Look beyond your assumptions. Step outside the window of your perceptions and marvel at the vastness of possibility.

Public entry We are not really a world of skeptics
January 21, 2005 @ 09:48:47 pm
Why is it that we allow a small percentage of people to block our personal success?

I'm a firm believer in karma. I know that I get back what I put out into this world.

Someone called me a liar in this forum just because he/she was a skeptic about an idea I presented. I'm not hurt by that, I'm just using it as an example of how being a skeptic about something you know nothing about can actually keep you from a form of success.

As the world is responding to 1000's of people in need following the tsunami, you can clearly see that we are NOT a world filled with skeptics, but rather, a world filled with optimists!

Don't let someone with a closed mind stand in the way of your success...whatever your success is.

Public entry Ahhhhh....it's over for another year.
December 26, 2004 @ 08:10:52 pm
I love Christmas...I get so much enjoyment out of giving gifts. I love to watch my kids open everything

I'm always amazed at how long it takes to prepare for the big day, then it's over in 30 minutes!

My hair is tollerable now...I guess it just needed time to adjust.

I hope everyone had a great holiday.

I have decided to give another clue. Here are 2 more letters "A" "L"

Have a great day everyone.

Public entry How is it that hair can have so much power?
December 23, 2004 @ 04:20:12 am
I got my hair cut today...I've had the same person cut my hair for years...I will never again get my hair cut during the holidays!
She did an awful job...it looks hideous!

The nice thing about hair...it grows back. I should be able to look in the mirror by 2005.

Ok...I've given 2 hints...who knows what the "key" and "best gift" is?
Anyone????
