We finally got possession of our house day before!! It was surreal... We have nothing moved in yet! And we won't be until after this weekend (when we change the flooring and stuff)... YET- we both go into this basically empty but perfect house morning and evening- sit around, drink coffee, sigh and grin a lot! I hope that is normal!!!  But I don't care either ways! I am too busy playing house!    | |

I'm having one of those days, where you are just trying to kill time with anything yo can get... You know the kind- you check email and then a coupla seconds later, you go back and check it again... Then you do a round of all your favorite internet haunts and then go back to them once you are done in the hopes there is another scrap of info.- again and again and again... You respond to any and all manner of random topics and then you try to write a cribby journal entry, hoping to pa** some more time and even that doesn't seem to suffice- Yeah! that kind... And STILL- the clock goes inexorably SLOW in its tick tock tick tock tick tock tick tock...

A bunch of awesome stuff happening one after the other peeps! And I am pretty thrilled... So I'm bursting to share all the good news (And the "double points day" doesn't hurt either! )
Anyways- I am going to Houston tomorrow to meet with my favoritest girlfriends- we are going to have so much fun! Girls weekends out RULE!
THEN next week- on Monday actually, we sign the closing papers and buy our dream home! **jumps up and down excitedly
To add to it, my sister's boyfriend got into the grad school he's been dreaming about and with full financial aid! YEA!
And last but not least, my best friend had a baby- I am going to be his little boy's godmother (fairy- naturally!) and his baby is named in honor of me (his name is a little twist on my nickname)... Its been a FABULOUS week and I couldn't be happier!   | |

why people seem to let stupid, trivial stuff get to them? In the last few days I have been noticing more and more... Stuff like, some random waitress calls you "honey" or "sweetie" and you don't particularly care for it and so get all annoyed and pissed off about it... Or the fact your coworkers don't notice your haircut or new top immediately or your neighbor and you get into a DUMBASS one-upmanship war on which of you can make more noise and be more obnoxious while putting the other down! (true gripes on the original MM Board- pinky swear!)...
Oh! REALLY? This stuff really gets your goat? What world are you living in? SO many real things to be annoyed about and care about and you choose THIS? Boy! This way, SO many people must be pissed off all the fricking time... No wonder the smallest things set off huge reactions!
Sorry had to get this out and shake my head in disbelief and roll my eyes there for a bit!  All done now!  | |
