August 02, 2008 @ 07:18:00 pm | I met a friend to day that I haven't seen in nearly 20 years. We found each other on that face book thingy. She invited me to her youngests first birthday. It's just I was made to feel very unwelcome from the outset, she took one look at me and became all stand offish. It all seamed very strained, why even invite me then. I was expecting a friendly 'down the years' hug. But she took a step back and her smile vanished. To cut a long story short, we are now from different sides of the street, she is the sort to grow fat on cheap burgers and let her kids fester in dirty nappies and well I am very different. Our kids were the same age, but my son is very literate hers still had dummies stuffed in their faces. MMmmm a really odd experience.
