Stardate 080507: Britney has had an attack of nostalgia today because she found the pretty shoes we wore to our first school dance in seventh grade. We agree that we hate pretty shoes because we remember how much our feet hurt the next day.

Mega Über-Meister 3325 points | why is it pretty shoes always make you suffer? I think the makers do that on purpose just to get possibly another sale on a plainer pair of shoes********** |

For whatever reason, its a female tradition? An early scene in "Gone with the Wind" has Mammy shuffling along in men's shoes. It suggests that her feet hurt, but probably because she's been on her feet all day, not because her shoes don't fit. Scarlett's mother, who could afford to have any shoe she wants, wears pretty shoes, so her feet hurt worse than Mammay's. |

Debater 5219 points | We had one great benefit from the sore feet. We met Gaby at the dance. At the time, even compared to us, he was short and skinny. Now he's six foot three, and when we help him with his science homework we get a hug.
Getting a hug from a man (really still a boy), who can throw you around like a dish rag, but doesn't. Very cool. |

Debater 5219 points | Stardate 080513: Today we studied Much Ado about Nothing in English class. One of the vocabulary words was URL fury . When Mrs Z asked Britney to define fury , Britney said it was the car that God used to drive Adam and Eve from the Garden of Eden. Mrs Z laughed. She's a good audience, and Britney is a kissup.
One might wonder why we know that a Fury is a car because knowing obscure trivia about cars is not normally a girl thing. However, we do know about DaimlerChrysler, a company that makes cars in the United States, Germany, and Japan. David, one or our girlfriends, who's father owns a restored Fury.
Also, one might wonder how David, a boy, could be a girlfriend. That just means that if we break a nail, we can vetch about it; and he listens. |

Stardate 080504: While crossing the Great Online Desert, Britney and Lulu arrive at an oasis known as "The Forum Site." At the edge of the oasis, a man sitting at a bus stop introduces himself as Screwtape and suggests that the girls should take the next bus. The girls decline his offer and enter the oasis. Dum da dum dump. Dum da dum dump DUMMMMMM. |
