Had a driving lesson friday (let's not talk about that) then I came in and had a loooooong but nice chat, heart to heart even, with my housemate which was lovely after hours of which we decided to go to the pub to celebrate it being Friday (!), so off we trotted to Penny Lane wine bar and had 2 lovely bottles of wine and the nicest cheeseboard ever!! By the time our other housemates joined us and Neil joined us much later once he got there from work at 11pm we were pretty tipsy! Nice tipsy though!! Had a great night and a good laugh then we all stumbled home, our other very shy, awkward girl housemate shocked us all with her amazing music collection and talents on the guitar and keyboard, which made the other girl housemate fall in love with her a little! Then pizza came, speakers came out and we spent ages listening to music till the early hours...great fun! Slept in very late saturday morning then went for a hangover breakfast in the pub, got sucked into the rugby, went home, watched Bride Wars on DVD (overrated!) then watched X Factor with fajitas and lovely red wine Sunday had a little lie in, then got up and ready for our big adventure to the Chill Factor in Manchester!!! Got there and got all dressed up into the gear (which was more effort than the activity itself!) and started our lesson, I didn't do very well once we were strapped into the board - soooooo painful! Had to take it off it the end and just put it back on when we were doing our boarding down the slope which was much better! Fell over a few times but it was good fun once I forgot about the pain! Once that was finished we got our helmets on for the luge ride which is basically a toboggan ride you go down on a mat...this was good fun too but very painful...there was always one last corner I became unstuck...the first time I let go and slid all over the place, the 2nd I whacked my head on the side (thank god for the helmet!) and 3rd time I ended up skidding out of it on my right shoulder!! After that thought seemed to get the hang of it...little sore today though!! Was good fun but soooo tiring, we just came back and flopped on the sofa before making a lovely homemade curry and settling down for again...you guessed it - X Factor!! Can't believe Simon went to public vote again....he's either a wimp or very clever...I enjoy the entertainment of the twins as much as anyone but it's not fair on the talented acts keep having to leave, I though Lucie was a good all rounder, who probably wouldn't win but would do well! And who on earth is voting for Lloyd? He's so flat and out of tune..even I could sing better than him!! Well I best get ready for work...see you all later
