| We had to put my childhood dog down for the same reason...I was already an adult at the time but I cried like a baby anyway.
It will get better over time.
I am so sorry! |

Why do you want to stop crying? Crying is a very healthy way of expressing and getting rid of powerful emotions that shouldn't be kept in.. |

CHOOSE HAPPINESS!!!
| I am very sorry about your loss. I agree. Crying will help
cleanse the soul. It will get better over time. I can relate to a person of any age who has enough inner strength to express their emotions, in a healthy 'closure' sort of way. Two times I lost a pet, once as a child, and once just six years ago, and I cried both times. |

| Bobbie -- I'm sorry to hear of the pain you are going through. I agree with the others, don't hold back the tears. It is not good to internalize your emotions. I did that with the passing of my son, and my doing so has only made matters worse.
Duke was a companion of yours in life, and his memory will remain a companion of yours now.
This sentiment, I feel, applies equally well to all species...
regards,
Chris |
